CABUYAO IS STILL "THE RICHEST MUNICIPALITY IN THE PHILLIPINES"

CABUYAO CITY, LAGUNA - Through the passage of Republic Act No. 10163, Cabuyao, the current "Richest Municipality in the Philippines" since 2010, is now a component City following its referendum last August 2012. Its income grows bigger and bigger as years go by as evidenced with a large number of companies, all multi-nationals located in the city. Since 2000s, Cabuyao is already on the listing of "Top Municipalities in Income" every year.

For the record, in 2007, Cabuyao placed Top 3 in Income ranking, after San Juan (became city in 2007) and Biñan. In 2008, Cabuyao still placed 3rd after Biñan as the first, and Dasmariñas as the second. In 2010, both Biñan and Dasmariñas became cities so Cabuyao placed first in Income followed by Bacoor and Cainta.


For 2011, Cabuyao still ranked first followed by Cainta and Bacoor.

Cabuyao will no longer be on the list for 2012, since it is already a City, well, congratulations to my town, or should I say city, for an excellent performance in income. Cabuyao is the "Richest Municipality in the Philippines" for 2010 to 2011.
